Topic: RMX 500 Technical help - no effects on the plugin

Good Morning guys,

I have been through all rmx1000 and rmx 500 threads and am struggling to get the effects plugin working.

I have just bought the pioneer rmx 500 and its linked with a usb to the laptop. I have installed the latest plugin software from pioneer and copied the pioneer .dll file 32bit to the VDJ/plugin/soundeffects folder and it shows up in virtual dj and actively links with the rmx500. All the buttons are recognised as they are pressed BUT I have no effects to go with the buttons..........

Guys has anyone got an idea of what I am doing wrong?

I dont know this vst effect but i think you must activate it in the Master Effect Section that the glow green and klick on the toothwheel (Zahnrad)

Have here make a Side with vst effects in VDJ 8 but it is write in german language,but there are some picture from mastereffectsection:

SOLVED.........

To anybody having this problem i had the plugin correctly placed but failed to select the unit as a controller along side my XDJ RX2
