I run a salsa night club and I need 2 seconds of silence between each track for people to thank their current dance partner and ask/ accept a new dance partner. Some tracks have more than two seconds of silence at the end. Previously I would just run a playlist in iTunes and adjust the stop time of a track to take care of excessive silence. I can't seem to find a way of doing this in the auto mix feature in virtual DJ. I don't want any cross fades etc. If I use the back to back feature in auto mix I have uneven gaps between each of my songs.
Can anyone help?

Use fade, skip silence, and set the fade time to 2 seconds gap.

further to the suggestion from Adion, IMVHO you really may want to consinder buying a PRO license before you use a home version for commercial use.
after that, I'm more than certain that someone on the forum can help you out with your problem, and BTW I'm also a dance teacher!
Best regards

I can see a problem with an arbitrary 2 seconds, you may want to stop for a further moment, congratulate successful or improving partners, give pointers to struggling duos.
Now if you're at the controls then this is straight forward (stop..... carry on) but if you're on the floor then it's likely the remote app may be the answer. (A touch of script help, the song ends, the mic and phone come out of the pocket, a touch of mic work, everybody ready, tap your phone, off you go.
I've no interest in dance class specifically, my interest is just solving new problems with vdj. So once I get time, if you need it, I'm willing to help.
