hi can anyone help me my pioneer controller ddj-szis not working properly i cant get sound from controller i have downloaded the latest firmware and drivers from pioneer i dont know what to do can anyone help please???? when ddj-ultily comes up it says ddj-sz is not connected and when i turn on virtual dj it comes up as asio not working ???? i would really appreciate some feedback thanks

If the Pioneer DDJ-SZ settings utility can't detect the controller then you have a connection issue between your PC and SZ.
Try different USB port(s) and different USB cables. As a last resort try a different PC (just for testing) If the issue doesn't get solved and your SZ is new please contact your reseller right away as the unit may be defective.

thanks for feedback im in the process of trying another labtop as it so happens unit is out of warranty do you know if there is any souncard etc inside the actual unit ???cheers

There is a sound interface. However if you expect to open SZ and find a black box marked as "sound interface" with a big red speaker icon on it, you won't!
On such complex units a lot of things are located "somewhere" on the main board, but also a lot of things are spread to various sub-boards all over the place.
Even if your unit is out of warranty I would suggest you to visit an authorized service center to have them check your unit. Then it would be up to you to fix it or not depending on the cost.
