Never had this issue in previous updates however since updating, playing 2 tracks at once while mixing results in overall distortion. The same thing happens when playing a sample over the top of a track, very distorted sound. Never had this before, don't know why it's happening?

Are you hitting the software limiter? try changing the zerodb option in SETTINGS->OPTION tab to -3 or -6 and retest. Also watch your master level VU meter to make sure you are not clipping.
