coming from 8.1 my spacebar got a individual mapping like "prelisten ? Prelisten_stop : Prelisten_pos 0% & prelisten"
since 8.2 (incl. latest - today - build) spacebar will select first/last row in main browser an did not react like individual mapped

just tested here , mapped SPACE as above and worked fine.
What you describe as behavior is definitely not part of the factory default mappings, so please double-check your custom one.
You have have selected a different custom mapping but anyways, you can still remap SPACe as above and have it working as before , no ?

the bug is still present. But you have to set option "BrowserSearchByFirstLetter" to "yes" to get the bug!

the video starts with BrowserSearchByFirstLetter" to "NO" and SpaceBar mapping like "prelisten ? Prelisten_stop : Prelisten_pos 0% & prelisten"

then change option to no and spacebar will jump inside the browser....

Clearly not a bug.
It simply does what it is supposed to do.
With "BrowserSearchByFirstLetter" it jumps to the first track that has no artist -> space or ' '.
At least that is what I am able to see in the video.

Ok. next try.
i deletet those tracks with no artists. Both videos are with option=yes
First ist Version 8.2 and still jumps.
