Ok so Ive downloaded all the pad pages that Phantom has created and now I understand how to use them, AWESOME!!
My question is, will there be a few pages created for effects?? Ive used pad fx's with Pioneers Rekordboxdj and its pretty nice and I see the potential VDJ has to recreate these.
Not the best demo but you get the jest of it,

Its in our plans to provide something similar in a future version, but in the meantime you can still create your own favorite effect shortcuts on a custom pad page.
E.g. a pad can be mapped to be effect_active 'EffectName' on while_pressed & effect_slider 'EffectName' X a% & effect_slider 'EffectName' Y b% etc.

It's not what you want, but it's a start:

Actually I wanted to postpone this page for a while in order to improve it, but you can get the picture how powerful the pad editor is and what it can do...

PS:
Talking about pad pages and pad page editor:
The real power is that you don't need to edit/remap your controller in order to get more/new actions.
All you have to do is to create new pad pages. It's like having "banks" of custom buttons that you can assign them on the fly on your controller.
I think you figured it out already, but changing pad page from the GUI for a deck also changes the pad page on the controller as well and vice versa.
For your SP1 for instance if you favor a particular pad page all you have to do is to remap the button that selects that page. Not all the pads.
Now combine that fact with the fact that you can scroll pages on the fly or even use the pads to switch pad pages and you can create some nice complex stuff without even touching your controller. And best of all: All the stuff you do will work with any other controller that offers pads if you switch later down the road. So you don't have to "remap" everything...
I'm preparing a "complex" case like this just for demonstration of what can be done. Basically you have a "top" page with a few selected effects, and once you select an FX on this page the page changes and now you can trigger this FX with 8 different settings (dry/wet, beats e.t.c.) from the pads...

This is a very good start, Thanks!!
And yes your right, once I realized I didn't have to remap the buttons it all kinda clicked, lmmfao!!
So alls I did with my SP1, was remap the loop encoder from 'loop_move' to 'pad_pages' and now I can basically scroll threw the pages and effectively have the buttons do whatever I choose depending on the pad page I scroll to.
This just makes it soooooo easy now to get even more functionality out of my SP1. Awesome, awesome, awesome!!
EDIT,
1 more thing and this is probably for the team but is there anyway we can the BEATGRID fx to also show the effect on the video??

...rushes off to buy an SP1.
Well not just yet, but I must get one!
This looks like it has great potential.
It would look nice with my XDJ R1.
Hm..

Just bought the DDJ-SP1. Nice device for £149 and it's USB powered as well.
This gives me the pad support from the SX while using the MC6000 as my main controller.
Superb!

Yeah I love my SP1!! It truly is the one piece of gear I have that I will NEVER leave home without no matter what I'm playing on!!
And now with this pad thing, it just got a whole lot better!!
