Topic: Hercules P32 DJ Grid Pad Controller as an add-on controller

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Good day!

Just read a review of this new coming controller, I think it won't replace the main controller but would be very good as an add-on controller / supplement for the main controller that has no triggering pads or with only 2 channels.

Any ideas how to pair it with the main controller as an add-on controller?
This seems exciting, any suggestions welcome.

May be as deck 3 and deck 4,
as remix pad of vdj8 route to deck 4,
as an add-on pad controller (ex. Pioneer DDJ-SP1)
as a effect controller / remix station (ex. Pioneer RMX-1000),
...

Best Regards,
Richard Artimix

VDJ Is capable of using multiple controllers at the same time. I'm using a Denon MC6000 and a Launchpad S at the same time.

Thank you for the comment, exactly application what I'm thinking...
I still got a Akai MPD32 in my storage but my DJ desk has no space for it as second controller and moreover VDJ has no mapping file for it so will have a difficult time to set it up.

Thanks again

Richard

Hmm this has really got my thinking about ditching my DDJ SP1 and putting this in its place.

Well played Hercules, well played.
