Topic: Need help with using headphones in VDJ and Pioneer DDJ-SB2

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hey guys, just got a new ddj-sb2 and installed mapping for VDJ. Everything seems to be working fine except for headphones cue.
I can switch the sound from master to headphones and it works fine but only for both decks at the same time, doesn't separate. So the sound is either in headphones, or speakers, or both. CUE doesn't seem to work at all, I can't switch the sound between decks. Also my master CH levels aren't lighting up and moving on the controller, but they are in VDJ.

Any advice is much appreciated.
Thanks,
Marina

There is no need to install any mapping file for the DDJ-SB2. Its natively supported in the latest VirtualDJ 8 build.

As for your issues, i would suggest to uninstall whatever version of VirtualDJ you have in your computer, and fresh install VirtualDJ 8 from here..

If you like VirtualDJ, you will need a Plus or a Pro license http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html or else your controller will work with VirtualDJ only for 10 mins per session.

Dont forget to install the Pioneer DDJ-SB2 ASIO drivers as well.
