Topic: recording mp3 files with asio

Hi
i was recording some music today while on my RMX and found out the mp3 file couldnt be read by windows media player
so i chose to work with Pc sound instead of ASIO settings and mp3 file recorded perfectly.
Is there a way to record using asio driver ? is that a bug im dealing with or just dont know what the settings are ?...
