Those appear to be a two prong wire piercing connector. I would never recommend those to any one.
The fire and electrocution risk with that is great. It is also not legal to bypass or remove the grounding terminal on a cord. You would also have to remove part of the existing jacket on a power cable to pierce the conducting wires.


Mine only have two prong and I don't remove anything. I use the zip cord they were designed to be used with and stay well beneath the 750 watt max. No fire or electrocution risk at all.

With 1ft power cord plug in the strip my set up time about 10min....
