Topic: DMX Plug-In for Mac

Hi, I believe that there is a DMX plug-in for VenueMagic, but this is only natively for Windows. Is there a plug-in that works specifically on a Mac?

You can use the VDJ MIDI clock output to send a sync signal to VenueMagic.
 
Thanks, do you know if you can do the same with Chauvet ShowExpress too? I've been looking into this software as well.
 
Scott (SBDJ) is actually working on a ShowXpress plugin for both Mac and PC, no timeframe though as to when it will be released.

And trust me when it comes to the Mac side I feel your pain 😭💦💦
 
Yeah, its frustrating. I'm trying to decide which DMX software to buy and don't want to get the wrong one. Apparently Venue Magic only works with Windows and I have no intention of putting that on my Mac! So, that's a non-starter - I am trying to find out if Chauvet ShowXpress can receive the same MIDI click output from VDJ?
