hi guys, ive been asked to provide my playlist history from new year as part of the evidence in a court case, as it happens there seems to only be history back till i installed v8, is there a reason for this? i really need this piece of evidence.

The history of version 7 is stored on a different folder named "Tracklisting" while version 8 keeps history on the "History" folder
 
Thank you for the answer to this. I've tried to provide this list to a client who asked for it and it's an odd file. It opens in iTunes by default but in a spreadsheet app it's almost worthless. Is there a way to simply print the list?

You open the tracklist.txt in iTunes ???
