From looking at your Audio config it looks like your controller doesn't have a sound card, so you don't want to have anything for a recording source in audio config (delete it)
The recording will then be internal, more details are in the manual.

Hi I deleted it and get this message unable to record

Ok I understand now you're on an external mixer you need to loop back into V8, I'll be a second and pull the info.

(That I had to use the V7 guide Atomix staff!)

So from the output of your mixer back into your mac, then set a record config as before, with the wire in place you can then tell V8 to use this to record.

What I don't understand is, why you have deck 1 on Ch 1 & 2 and deck 2 on Ch 1 & 2?

Thanks Man

I don't know where to post this but I hope this help. I started with VDJ version 7 BROADCASTER last May/2013. I used this version because I run a Podcast where I have more than a 1,200 people listening to my show every Saturday. I decided to purchase a PRO version due to an offer given to me from Atomix in an email I received.

Because I have a PRO license I receive an email telling me I am eligible to get VDJ version 8. Well guess what? I installed version 8 and everything went crap. For more than 46 days I've trying to get my external console a Mackie PROFX12 with USB to work but no avail. Technical support couldn't help at all. They told me everything from call Mackie to get the correct drivers.

Well after 57 days since I upgrade to version 8 I finally mastered. I have my Mackie PROFX12 working and virtual DJ 8 in love with my Mackie like 2 horny jackrabbits in love for each other. No DRIVERS, NO CALLING MACKIE... Just patience and settings adjustments to VDJ 8 and Windows too.

So if anyone has any problem at all with any USB based console, please do not hesitate in dropping an email. my emails is: titimalanga@[no-spam]gmail.com

Please remove the no spam.
