Not sure if this is in the correct section but I need to know this before I purchase this product.
The older version of Virtual DJ supported the Gemini CDJ700 . I can't see them listed and need to know if it dose.
I've noticed a lot of the controllers on the list have been put in twice, correcting this would make the search a little easy er. lol : )
Please let me know the outcome to this a.s.a.p.
The original mode for the virtual DJ Set up on these controllers was HID.

I've been using them with VIrtual DJ and I love those units. They give the competition a run for their money. Let me know how you like them, and don't forget to update the firmware.

Hi @...........dj ho productions ......................................
I'm sorta new to virtual dj in a way done a few test with this software but never took the leap been using other software.
I've done the firmware update to 4.4 on the Gemini but unable to test this software until tomorrow as it's 01.30 am here but I have
big hopes for this software and much to throw at it.
What Skin would you recommend for these units or which do you find gives them their best ability?

No skin, just use the default skin on VDJ. I hope you enjoy them as much as I have over the past two years.

Can I hook up four units via HID? and how reliable are they? I am deciding between four CDJ 700's or two Denon Sc2900's.
I take care pretty good care of my equipment.
Thanks.

Yeah, just get a power hub and hook up four CDJ's. After all, you have up to 99 decks on VDj.

Loving the setup with the Gemini CDJ 700's Just one slight issue running 4GB Ram @ 800 MHz and Intel dual core 2.95 per core and it's struggling running audio smoothly. CPU hitting 100% randomly. nothing else running only audio.

Bring it up to eight, that's what I'm using on my dell. But I was running on four before and it was working just fine. Make sure that there are no other applications running in the background, and turn off your antivirus. If you are using a hub, make sure it's a power hub, and give it a try. Also, check the latency, that might help too.

@DJ Ho, I follow you on Instagram and your decks seem to be holding up pretty well. How well do they work in midi mode with VDJ 8??

They work amazingly good. They are very responsive, and I like how you can control just about everything with these units. If you don't have the HID mapping, I suggest you get it. The only thing I'm waiting for is for VDJ to display the track time on the LCD of the CDJ700's and it'll be perfect. What name do you go under on IG?
