Hey fellow DJ's. I was trying to find a way to get free music so I could try to do remixes. So I was looking around and found this site.

go to You Tube and find the song you want. Right click and select copy link location. Go to the converter and select paste. Click convert. When it's done it will have a thing to click that says download click then go to your downloads and put you're music into your media player. I personally have a folder just for my downloaded music. I keep the folder on my desktop. That way when you pull Virtual DJ up you go to browse, click desktop, Then select the folder. Makes it Easier for me anyway.
It's free, it's legal, and for music junkies like me a dream come true.

that is not at all legal and we don't advocate it here. Post's like yours are the reason for this song being made
I just thought you needed to see it, so you understand how the industry felt about it, removed at your request

No, it's not legal to rip music from YouTube.
Most music is controlled by copyright, and the usual way to legally use it for DJing is to buy it.
However there is an alternative offered by Atomix for VDJ, and that is Content Unlimited. It's a subscription service which allows you to basically rent music. You can download as many tracks as you want and play them in VDJ - but only as long as you pay your subscription.

Hey guy's, thanks for telling me. I won't use it any more. But hey, I thought in the forum rules, it says, no cursing or inapropriat content because minors will be reviewing posts, I'm 16, LOVE music and thought it was okay, And thats all you had to tell me Synthec1c. Thank you Groovindj for telling me the right way instead of being crude.

I just got in before the hour timeout for modifying posts and deleted it. If you wan't to remove it you will have to PM one of the mods, but I imagine they will see it in time and remove it for you.
I didn't mean to cause too much offence with the video, but I did mean to cause a little though, because if you branch out and start to meet other more established dj's and tell them all your music is ripped off youtube they will not be nice about it. If you stick at djing for a while your ears will mature and you will be able to hear just how bad youtube rips sound compared to proper MP3's or WAV's. On a club system youtube rip quality is unacceptable.
The using of VDJ in the video is another debate, but when VDJ8 drops that shouldn't be an issue, and even now I can't see any basis to the claim as we have great sound quality, video, the best mapping of any software, more supported controllers than any other software, infinite routing options, dmx lighting communication and we can use VST's and "FreeFrame VFX" to overcome any shortcomings with the standard effects.
