Topic: How to load Karaoke Zip Files

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hello - I recently purchased an external hard drive with an extensive amount of karaoke songs. However, each song with the video are in zip files and I am curious to know how to load them into virtual dj 7? There are around 100,000 songs and I do not want to have to one each zip file individually. Any help would be appreciated.

Firstly I'm not condoning illegal music (which this sounds like it could be) but VDJ is able the read zip files so you should be able to browse your hard drive through VDJ and then they should be automatically added.

Hope that helps.

Well it is actually a local KJ company I am temporarily trying to help out. Guess I should of dxid i is more of a deposit to utilize this external with my own equipment. I read that VDJ reads zip files, but won't I still need to add them to the software so it can determine I have them?
