ok so hears the question I want to be able to email a copy of my music directory to a new client so they can make a music list...? any ideas

Yeah, don't do it. I have a 5 page music list I send out. Four pages have different genres and time periods, and the fifth is for requests. The only genres that are updated are hip hop, and todays hits. It's a marketing toy, I don't really need their help, and they usually agree. Is this a special theme party, then you may need some ideas, but keep it simple, and take charge of the situation.

Agreed. They shouldn't need a list of your music in order to name their fave songs.
If they really do have the memory of a goldfish and no vinyl, CDs or MP3s of their own, then there are plenty of lists available online.
