I am thinking of making the switch from Serato Itch to VDJ. Looking over the VDJ Pro manual if I am right changes made to my music on my hard drive will show instantly in VDJ, ie (moving a song from one folder to another, add comment add a new song) ?
At this time Itch doesn't do that and I end up dragging songs to itch. No idea if the new Serato DJ will offer this, but I doubt it
Any help on this before I make the switch would be great.
I use Numark V& and understand it is compatible with VDJ

VirtualDJ's browser uses the file structure of your hard disk(s), so you will see your folders, files, etc. as they are on the actual disk. Any changes made, files added, etc. will be immediately available (If you are already in the same folder, you may need to go out of it and back again to refresh the file list.)
If you already have your music organised by folders, this also means that you don't need to duplicate all this work by making 'crates'.
You can try out VirtualDJ before purchasing by downloading Home FREE http://www.virtualdj.com/products/homefree.html - However, this free version will only allow MIDI controllers and other Pro features to be used for 10 minutes at a time. Please see http://www.virtualdj.com/products/comparison.html
A list of MIDI and HID controllers currently supported by VirtualDJ can be seen on the following page: http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/VirtualDJ%20Controllers.html

If you create play lists then change the location of a song the playlist won't update. It hasn't for me anyway. It will come up as an error so just be careful of that. One thing I do like about VDJ tho is that there is a function that will get rid of all the errors that may come up if you search for a song that has been moved. Before you do the clean it will come up with all the locations of that song where it has been played from before... (if that makes any sence to anyone. I know what I'm saying but may not be explaining it right). After you do the clean it will show you that song and it will work you won't get an error upon loading it.
