Topic: How do i use headphones to DJ with VMS4

Hey everyone, I own a VMS4.1 and im having a little difficulty understanding how to use headphones with it. I have my master output to play music through some external speakers but i want to be able to prelisten to songs using my headphones without it being played on the speakers or having whats playing on the speakers play in my headphones, how can i do this?

You see those small buttons above each channel fader, marked 'cue'?

To hear a channel in the headphones without it playing through the main output, press the cue button above the particular channel, which will route the audio from that channel to the headphone output of the VMS4. The channel fader will of course be at minimum.

Ensure the cue/master balance knob is turned to the cue position and that the headphone volume is turned up sufficiently.

Whilst cueing the next track, you can also choose to hear some (or all) of the master output in the headphones by turning the cue/master balance knob towards 'master'. This will then provide you with a mix between the cue channel and the main output.

i have the cue clicked and all i can hear is the song playing
