Has anyone had any experience with an S-Video to Component (RGB) converter?
I need one for a venue I'm playing on Saturday and am looking for recommendations.
Thanks

I wouldn't go with any of those that those guys posted, no offense but it was all junk.
I'd go with a "Extron DVS 304", its what I use and I've been through a lot of different converters. This is by far the best out. Just Google it and check out all it can do.
Might cost some change but it's well worth the investment, good luck

Thanks Beatbreaker...it looks like that unit can convert to VGA cable out correct? That would be so much better than running my s-video cables around anymore (too delicate)

Yup you can go VGA out, component, and composite. Plus it's a scaler so you can output at a lower resolution from your laptop then boost the signal from the box. It also has memory on all 4 channels meaning you can have it set up for different venues. It's really a slick unit.
Feel free to holla if you need anything else
