As I searched around the net looking on how to map the XY pad on the nanoPAD2, I realized a lot of people were having the same problem. So here is a quick and simple way to map the nanoPAD 2. Remember, your going to need the pro version of VDJ for this to work properly.
Mapping the pads on the nanoPAD 2 is relatively easy.
Config---->Mappers---->Key Learn (hit the appropriate pad)---> Action Learn (input what you want it to do.)
Now to map the XY pad, it's a little different. Touching the XY pad wont work. It will need to be set up as follows.
X
Config---->Mappers---->Key Learn (type in) 0-CC1---> Action Learn (input what you want it to do.)
Y
Config---->Mappers---->Key Learn (type in) 0-CC2---> Action Learn (input what you want it to do.)
Here is a very basic idea
<map value="0-37" action="hot_cue 1" />
<map value="0-39" action="hot_cue 2" />
<map value="0-41" action="hot_cue 3" />
<map value="0-43" action="hot_cue 5" />
<map value="0-45" action="hot_cue 1" />
<map value="0-47" action="hot_cue 2" />
<map value="0-49" action="hot_cue 3" />
<map value="0-51" action="hot_cue 5" />
<map value="0-36" action="deck 1 eq_kill_low" />
<map value="0-38" action="deck 1 eq_kill_mid" />
<map value="0-40" action="deck 1 eq_kill_high" />
<map value="0-46" action="deck 2 eq_kill_low" />
<map value="0-48" action="deck 2 eq_kill_mid" />
<map value="0-50" action="deck 2 eq_kill_high" />
<map value="0-42" action="sampler default play_stop" />
<map value="0-44" action="deck 2 sync" />
<map value="0-CC1" action="effect slider 1" />
<map value="0-CC2" action="effect slider 2" />

No controllers of any sort will work with the LE version....Upgrade

you need to be in pro inorder to have this work.. its not a script issue its not being able to use the mapping section. if you have pro it is simple.. you can push the button and then click the thing on the skin you want it to do.. then it will script it for you..

Then please register your PRO license so people are not irritated by you showing as a LE user and asking PRO questions.
But to answer the question - the nanoPad 2 does not currently have native support. So, you will need to research the Controller download section to see if there is a user supplied mapping. If so, then you will need to be a registered PRO user to download the mapping.

Hello, i also try to use the nanopad2, but i couldn´t see it within vdj. What should i do?

Nanopad2 is not natively supported, however since the unit has no Leds, you could use it as Simple Midi. You should see the unit detected as Simple Midi in CONFIG->Mappers list
