Topic: Importing a playlist from windows media player

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I've already changed the file extension to .wpl and put it under Libraries/Documents/VirtualDJ/Playlists but Virtual DJ cannot find my playlist anywhere! I tried right-clicking the "playlist" tab in virtual dj and choosing "add to search DB" but still nothing. Help!

Oh, and I'm using Virtual DJ 7 Home Free if that makes a difference.
 
VirtualDJ does not support Windows Media Player playlist format.

You will need to export them to .M3U format (As used by WinAmp, etc.) for them to work in VirtualDJ. Please search Google for instructions on how to do this.
