Hey,
I just started using the program and have a list of songs I want to blend/transition together smoothly to create a mix for myself. However, when I record and play the songs using Virtual DJ, it appears that I have to wait for each song to complete before transitioning to the next one and so forth, and as my playlist is over 3 hours long, this could take a while! Is there a way of recording this 3 hour playlist without waiting for each individual song to finish to transition to the next?
Thanks!

If I understand you correctly, I don't think it's possible to "speed" things up, or you should try and MIX the songs together...
That's what dj's do, they mix songs...
If you are going to wait untill the song is done, then there is no transition, so you could just any mediaplayer to play your playlist. ;)

Hmmm. I'd say turn off the automix feature and mix it yourself. But to be able to do that without having it sound like two drunken horses having buttsex, you are gonna need to learn the basics of deejaying first. Go check out ellaskins tutorials on djtutor.com. I'd highly recommend that to beginners. Good luck!

We have a mix lessons forum halfway down the home forum page.
It has the best guide for mixing I've ever seen and is progressively written so you learn as you go.
