Hi everyone!
Wondering if there's an effect that I've overlooked that can apply horizontal keystone correction to the video output. I use an LED projector (Acer K11) for most of my events, and while it has vertical correction, having a horizontal option would be handy as it is sometimes difficult to get the space to get the projector sitting square on the screen!
Any ideas?
Gareth.

It's something we run into every now and then...
NVidea used to have a horizontal keystone correction but it's not updated anymore (http://www.nvidia.com/object/feature_nvkeystone.html) It doesn;t support Vista and later. I did found a page with programs that could do the job: >>HERE<< I haven't tested any-one: Digital horizontal correction is not recommended, because it will distord your video and produce artifacts. Maybe you better save up and buy yourself a projector with build-in horizontal correction like the later models of Hitachi.

I've got a plugin in the works that lets you 'reshape' the video output from VDJ which should accomplish what you are asking.

Sounds great re the plugin - can you keep me up to date on the progress?

Hi Scott, was wondering if there was a progress update regarding the plugin for VDj for horizontal keystone?

No, but I'll sort a test version out - the basic reshape is functional, I've just not added the stuff that lets you add multiple shapes.

I'd be interested on this as well.
I use a projector that does not do Horz-Keystone (Optoma). I use the HDMI connection.

Sorry, had my hands full with a million other things, it's near the top of my to-do list though!

Really appreciate it. I've been playing around with some other stuff, but can't get any joy with the output from VDJ and its driving me nuts!
