Topic: A free version of virtual DJ that works with Hercules mp3 e2 ?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

My mac didn't detect my Hercules mp3 e2 and I tough it must be a software problem, so I seeked in the contents of the virtual dj version that was added on the software CD. I must have changed something, because now I managed to make my computer detect the controller but now the virtual dj program doesn't work anymore. I dont know where my start up disk is now, so I was wondering is anyone knows a legal way to get a virtual dj se that works with my device. (I tried DJ home 7 but they say me that I can use my controller for only 10 minutes)

Hi,

Only VirtualDJ Pro Full can work with any controller like DJControlMP3 you have. Actually the only 2 working versions are the one that is bundle with your controller (VirtualDJ LE or DJC) and VirtualDJ PRo Full, no other would work.

It is VERY IMPORTANT to register your VirtualDJ LE serial number in your user profile to avoid problems in case you loose your cd envelope or the VDJ serial number.

Try contact Hercules support, maybe the have the database on which VDJ LE serial was given for your current hardware. With us he only solution is to get VirtualDJ Pro Full from us.

Good Luck

What version of OS X are you using ?

The MP3 e2 is bundled with a version that will work with OS X 10.5 (Leopard) and higher (10.6 Snow Leopard and 10.7 Lion)

If you are using Tiger(10.4.x), you will need to go to the Download section to obtain version 1.0.2 (registration of the serial is necessary).

Thanks, i'll contact Hercules

hi..
when i am trying to register my virtual dj 7 pro key [REMOVED]
a message appeared that the serial is invalid please help me

This is because you are using the software illegally.

The serial number that you posted was illegally shared by its original purchaser and has been cancelled.

Please remove your illegal version immediately and then purchase your own legitimate license for the software: http://www.virtualdj.com/products/comparison.html

If you like VirtualDJ, then please support the software and its future development by purchasing it, especially if you are working DJ and are making money as a result of using it at your gigs.

Also, do not post serial numbers on the forums. For support with serial numbers, please contact support: http://www.virtualdj.com/contact/index.html
