hi guys, just got my apogee duet 2 recently, trying to use it for djing as some ppl said it is good.
however, i am having a hard time figuring out how to set this thing up.
right now what i did is : duet 2 to mac through usb ---- speakers to two 1/4'' output on duet 2 ---- headphone in duet 2 heaphone jack
Now, the problem is, when i try to cue the other track using my headphone, the speakers are also broadcasting what i hear on my headphone.
can anyone help me with this problem.
Thanks all

when you install the drivers and software for your Duet 2
it comes with Maestro 2 software.
check in your application folder for the program.
run it and then you can select the output for the headphones and set it to channel 3-4.
keep the speakers set to 1-2.
in virtuadj, select the advanced config for sound setup.
then make sure you have a channel for speakers output 1-2
and a channel for headphones output 3-4.
if you only see 1 listed channel, use the + button to add a channel.
now you're ready.
In the mixer area in the center of the skin,
you'll see a PFL button for each deck.
the selected PFL button will let you preview the sound in your headphones.
hope that helps.
