Topic: how do i save my VDJ samples as a file that can be used in ableton

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

title says it all. i want to use my VDJ sampled loops in ableton but ableton doesnt recognize them as audio clips. is there anyway to save my samples as something other than the default file type? or if you know of any other simple way to perform this action id greatly appreciate some advice. i really dont feel like recording all of my samples again using ableton because ive got them all perfected and ive got a lot of them as well. so, if you can assist me in any way i will give you one of the highest of virtual 5's that can be given. gracias.

change you samples so they are .mp3 and they will work in both programs for you.
just rename them taking the vdj format off and put mp3 at the end.
