Hi Freddy, I had the same issues but I only used Pro. Download the asio4all driver and go into asio config and select Mixdeck express. Make sure when you use the midi pc for your source on the mixdeck that you push down on the scroll knob. after that restart VDJ and the mapper should see the mixdeck. Open config and under sound setup select inputs none/ outputs external mixer/ and sound card asio4all and that should work,it worked for mine.

What other programs are compatable with the mixdeck exspress? I think I have given up trying to set up a recording connection...I would rather just spend the money and purchase a program that IS compatable with the mixdeck exspress that actually will record mixes..!!!! That was my main reason for purchasing a deck that was compatable with my computer because the original program I am used to records..however it is not compatable with this deck. uuuuhhhhggg...

The MixDeck Express has a real hardware mixer, so you will experience this issue in any DJ software you use.

Ok, so one really big disadvantage is that they don't have individual meters for each channel. I know vdj has them but the mixer is not midi compatible. This goes for all the mixdecks!

It has a TAP button but I don't see a SYNC button. Used with VDJ Pro Full the button could of course be remapped to do whatever you like.

Anyone else had problems with the pitch bend buttons?
mine keep breaking and even going inside the unit, 3times ive sent it back for repair in 5months, losing patience and confidence in its ability to be a so called bit of professional dj kit!!
any suggestions as to another controller in this price range welcomed :)

The MIXDECK EXPRESS is natively supported in VDJ. So you don't need a mapper
However, you need to buy the pro version of VDJ to use it with controllers (or at least something that is not the free Home Edition).
If you have already done this, please register it on your account. This will also give you more option in the download section
