Is there a 64 bit VDJ coming soon?

VDJ already runs on 64 bit....

Yes it does, but how it would operate in 64 bit would be much better if there were a 64 bit version, in many ways, like how it handles ram and so.

ah i see, so a more system friendly dedicated 64bit option. im not sure it would be viable to produce one at the moment, as there are a lot less 64bit users than there is 32bit.

personally i cant se one being produced untill computers become more standardised for 64bit.

It is rumoured that the next Windows OS could be released in 64 bit flavour only which meens all software devs will have there work cut out.

It is also leaked that we could see windows 8 as early as autumn 2012.

It is bound to happern soon as there are more and more apps and games that require 3-4gb ram now as we all know 32bit cant use any more than 4gb ram so things have to progress forward soon.

Nah, it's the same in the UK. I'd say at least 75% of brand new computers you can buy over here have a 64bit hardware architecture, although I've seen a lot of package PC's that despite being 64bit, ship with a 32bit version of windows - mad.

ah, i see, thats probably where ive got my wires crossed. strange how naturall assumption overlooks the hardware when 32bit os is mentioned.
