I use DVD Decrypter (usually in split-to-chapter mode) with my own tool to rename the files. Copy the DVD tracklisting from the web (online shop), the tool does the cleanup and then renames the files. DVDDecrypter was discontinued, but you will still get copies of it everywhere on the web (version 3.5.4.0). My tool is called Multimedia Collection Organiser and here are the links to download it:

The latest version of the application can be found at:
http://www.keepandshare.com/doc/2394062/mmcorg-zip-november-23-2010-3-21-pm-1-6-meg

The latest version of the Help.pdf file can be found at:
http://www.keepandshare.com/doc/2799004/help-pdf-may-10-2011-10-46-am-2-0-meg

The latest version of the Readme.txt file can be found at:
http://www.keepandshare.com/doc/2530853/readme-txt-january-19-2011-2-55-pm-2k

Multimedia Collection Organiser can also set the two mostly used configurations for DVDDecrypter - you don't have to hassle with all the numorous settings - check the help file for more info.

Enjoy!

Hello, better late than never, recently I am very interested in DVD Ripper because I want to bring some wonderful DVDs when I am on a business trip and in order to significantly reduce the storage space, uh, after all my posts in the conclusion, the current good reputation DVD Ripper have the following sections, WinX, Wondershare, Wonderfox and DVDfab, I finally selected wonderfox because it can be free to rip dvd to h265 that helps me save a lot of space, here is the link: http://www.videoconverterfactory.com/tips/dvd-to-h265.html ,and i will also give links of winx, it is also useful http://www.winxclub.com/en

I purchased 4videosoft for the PC and when i purchased a MAC i also purchased it for the MAC. Its excellent at not only ripping the files as individual videos but will convert them in to the format of your choice. This works great for DVD and there is also a Bluray version of the software for those who have BR discs.
