This is my first time making a beat, and I was wondering what is the best way to edit and extend a beat. The beat I have now is about 15 seconds. Any advice?

You can try looping it.
Or manually doing it in whatever software you used.
To loop it, just hit the number that should be up. It'll be a 1/8, 1/4, 1/2,1,2,4,8,16, or 32.
Since you said your beat is about 7 seconds, I would say either 8 or 16 would be the range you're looking for.
