i would really really appreciate if anyone could help me out

What are your settings?? Post those and we'll start from there.

Huey

what settings are you referring to???? im kinda new at this ..... be more specific if you could please

Ok look up top on the skin and look for a button that says "CONFIG", click on that and a window should open up. In here is where you can tweak VDJ. Look for a tab that says "SOUND SETUP", now take a screen shot or tell me what you have there. It should read,

INPUTS=NONE
OUTPUT=EXTERNAL MIXER
SOUNDCARD=ASIO, next to that there is a drop down choose "MIXDECK", now below that there's a check box that says "ULTRA LOW LATENCY", make sure that box is checked. Click apply then ok and try it out.

Let me know

hey i did those changes ... had it going for maybe 8 mins and then i minimized it and tried to open frostwire to download music..... as soon as i did that i believe is when it froze up again.... help please!!!

it does nothing when it freezes . the music just stops and you cant do or hear anything.... is there a specific method to starting up the program like when to turn on the mixdeck and put it in usb midi mode? do you have to make sure nothing else is going on in the computer .. like other programs and stuff??? it seems as if its so sensative i dont understand

hello can anyone help mE??????

Yeah sounds like your tryin to do to much at once, why are you tryin to download while playing VDJ anyways?? Shut down everything that you possibly can. Sounds like your system is a little weak, what is it? Post you computers specs. Bro its like 1am where I'm at so relax, your not always gonna get an immediate response back, lol!

Post your specs
Huey

One thing to check, make sure you are running a skin that is matched to your displays native resolution! Make sure you arent running VDJ maximized to fit a larger resolution. I have had the same issues if it was running on the wrong resolution and I tried to minimize to do other things. Let us know what resolution you are running as that is a start.

You should purchase your music from legitimate sites rather than downloading it illegally. Or subscribe to Premium Membership: http://www.virtualdj.com/products/membership.html

Illegal music and other downloads are a good way to infect your system with viruses, spyware and other malware. P2P applications can also be very demanding on system resources, which may be why you are running into these issues.

We would suggest performing a full virus scan of your computer (Make sure that your anti-virus/anti-malware software and its signatures is fully up-to-date first.)

Please see http://www.virtualdj.com/homepage/jpboggis/blogs/4094/Common_performance_issues_and_solutions.html for a list of common performance issues and their solutions.
