Thanks for the repeat function, it's nice to see something I've requested get included. This will help so much with the keyboard mapping for my How To DJ Properly With Just A Laptop guide that's being written at the moment, as it allows much easier approximation of certain progressive functions using the keyboard.
 
Well with a keyboard 'repeat' was already inherently there because the keyboard naturally repeats the keystroke. So this was always possible.
With MIDI and HID controllers they do not naturally repeat sending the code if the button stays pressed. That is why the repeat was added.

Sound drop outs are inherently a driver or performance setting issue. There were some refinements in the audio engine which may help in the performance area - but there was no focus on one specific audio card.

MSI is the Microsoft preferred installer method and with Mac it is the same with PKG to support the direction Apple is taking OSX with it's AppStore model.

no you don't have to uninstalled 7.0.2 you can installed 7.0.3 it just will replace it.
 
On My Mac I Could Not Open The NEW UPDATE With Out Enter The Serial Key# If You Don't Trash The Older VDJ ( 7.0.2 ) You Will Need To Enter The Serial Key # Each Time You Open It After You Open 7.0.2,And It Will Work Right.I Have Not Tried It On My PC,But Im Sure It Will Work Just Fine.

Thanks Team .... it dosnt seem to be bothered by Eset AV Anymore :), and dosnt need the serial to be entered again.

Thank You ! The new installer is slick. Everything loaded fine.

Just one more thing I would like to see in the next release. Now that my hardware and software issues disappeared with this wonderful version 7... I'm working on music indexing.

I love the new drag and drop moving of virtual folders & filters. The line pointer is great. I am asking for just one more modification.

When I move a filter or folder and release... a re-indexing takes place. I have several filters & folders and have to scroll back down to where I was working every time I move a folder or filter. It would be nice to have the list stay where it is, instead of moving.

I might have put this in "wishes & new features" a while back. Hopefully there will be a nice surprise in x.x.4.



Here is a nice tip for keeping your folders & filters in control. Create virtual folders that look like this:

=================== MP3s ======================
list of virtual folders & filters
================== VIDEOs =====================
list of virtual folders & filters
================= DJ TOOLS =====================
list of virtual folders & filters

ETC.

Each line is a virtual folder and make great separators. Give it a try it's been working great for me.

Forgive my ignorance,but did vdj always have 1/8 looping? For years I've always wanted it and to me it now appears. As I said it might sound silly but never hurts to ask.
