Topic: What is the best place to download tracks for free for Virtual Dj? - Page: 4

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I'm a newbie at mixing music but I'm still giving it a shot. I get my music from friends, of their friends and so on. And YES I and my friends do buy our music but there is no need for some DJs to go on about when they had no option but to buy vinyls and work for vinyls because NO ONE can change that.....times change, people change, deal with it. Technology goes forward and there's more opportunities for people to do what they want as time goes by. Like I and others have said before....you *help* newbie mixers, not knock them down straight there and then, isnt it?

If you want DJs who cant mix to save their real lives to become REAL DJs then tell them how to. Don't sit there and moan about. Like someone once said don't be reactive be *proactive*. And before anyone goes on about me not knowing anything, my dad was a DJ and had to go through the same difficulties more or less as all of you experienced DJs had to. He even ended up working on one of the biggest nightclubs in the Algarve (south region of Portugal) he then choose to do something else and followed it. But still has a love for his music and mixing. And his teaching me...both as a father and a critic lmao. I too have a love for my vinyl and have my own BOUGHT vinyl collection which I listen to and used to mix but due to shortage of space I've had to stick with just virtualdj and my much loved hercules.

Overall, let go of the past and try to HELP him not SLAY him. Tell him (calmly) what his doing wrong and HOW he can improve from there.
Just take a deep breath people and lets all BE a helpfull, welcoming community. :)

Peace out

My advice to anyone that get pis*ed off with silly post would be to try and progress to exp pro level so you can get into the locked board, there you can find a little more sanity. Hopfully

Getting Exp pro status requires you to show knowlage, professionalism and a thorough understanding of the job at hand. Good luck!

well i have showed ALL of that but yet i'm still stuck in the "newbie" forum so i guess i will still continue to get pi**ed at ridiculous posts.

Yeah,
And then when you say one thing about virtual dj not being very reliable you experianced user status will get taken away from you !!!!!!!

rob where you stripped down? :(

Yeah i was lol,
Not that im botherd though cus i dont use virtual dj anymore.

so does VirtualDJ decide from time to time pick users and ups them to Experienced pro level to get in the locker forum or is there another way?....
