Topic: How to set Hercules Control Steel back to Factory Settings?? Especially Control buttons 1-12

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I need help in this matter.

Believe it or not but the included Hercules DJ Control Steel owner's Manual does not provide instructions for resetting back to factory settings should the need arise. How is this done. And I particularly need to reset the controller in conjunction with Virtual DJ Pro. I would like to have the effects buttons 1 through 12 back to their original settings.

All the assignments are done through the MAPPER tab in Virtual DJ's configuration menu.

Simply use the RESET button (bottom left corner).
 
An even better way to specifically address the issue(s) that prompted my post, is to focus on the Settings/Mappers/Action-Learn feature. This way I can individually tweak/assign corresponding buttons on my Hercules Steel controller.
