I just bought the Stanton SCS3 and only the mixer works. Everything lights up but it dosent work with the software. Could someone HELP ME!!!

are you using the power adapater with the scs3m?

did you plug in each device individually first, so that the computer could properly recognize them?
if so, have you tried using the scs3d, alone and see if recognized in VDJ.

Also, here's a helpful hint, when the scs3ds load in VDJ they don't go to a mode. You have to hit the vinyl button to get them to that mode after opening VDJ.

I got 1 Stanton SCS.3D and 1 SCS.3M that use to work properly with VDJ 6...

I installed VDJ 7 and now my SCS.3M (mixer) don't work anymore

I tried to "reinstall it" but nothing worked out...

The SCS.3D (turntable) work and the 3M is recognize in the mapper section but i can't even try to re map it. When I use the key learn button, there's no way any button on the mixer is recognized...

Please Help ME!

I'm sure this will begin a massive, "the forums isn't the place for support" debate.
I would like to calm any concerns that you have that you are alone, and that this is something YOu are doing. I can tell you that it is not. I have been using the SCS3 with vdj since triple 9 dropped the first definition and mapper, and have never had so much difficulty, as I do in VDJ 7. It(scs3m) frequently just goes black and I have to un-plug, both from computer and power, and then re-connect everything and open. It acts like, something is fooling with the power that gets sent to the 3m.
Seems to be more frequent on the mac.
Sorry for the poor description, I wish I had all day to sit and test and meticulously document every key-stroke and midi cc, but I don't. All I know is that 'It ain't workin right."

I am experiencing the same thing you are. I'm sure it will get straightened out.

Just posted my problem elsewhere but thought i wouild give it a mention here as well.

SCS 3m not working with VDJ 7.

can you try to mapp something with the simple midi wrapper?
