Whats up everyone, I'm just sitting back playing with some new midi controllers. I've got the Korg NanoPad and Korg NanoKontrol up and running wonderfully. Does anyone know how to set up the NanoKey? I can't get VDJ to recognize it for some reason. Any help would be wonderfull. Thanks

There are mappers for the NanoPad and Kontrol only. there is no mapper for the NanoKey which is why I created this thread. However you can map the NanoKey yourself fairly easily. The trick is getting VDJ To recognize the controller by name. At first I had a little trouble setting mine up but after enough tinkering I figured it out. I would recommend downloading the "Korg Kontrol Editor" from the Korg website, then you can load the data you need from the mappers provided on this site. With that program you can assign any Midi Key# or Note to any Pad,Knob,Button, ETC.
The mappers provided on this website are "ok" but honestly you are probably going to want to rework it to best suite your needs. I encountered some issues with the mappers on this site conflicting with Midi Notes that are mapped stock on my RMX. For example pads and buttons causing decks to switch and parameters to reset. So you might have to spend some time with these. If you get frustrated take a step back, have a bite to eat, maybe a beer, then go back at it fresh.
When you finally get them working it will be absolutely worth it! The last gig I played I was visited by one of the local club resident DJ's in my City. He was very curious about the NanoPad and Kontrol and equally impressed when I showed him what they could do. Also If all else fails just map your controller as "Simple" Midi.
Oh and If you are considering what ones to by, I would recommend the Kontrol, as its the most functional. The Pad comes in second as its great for que points being able to smash on those pads with great response from the software. They key comes in third on my list as its just not as practical as the others.

thx for your answers
yes i take a look at the website cotnroller tools but for the nanakey and the korg padkontrol are no mappers
so much difficult have somebody of you the mapper and device already done it?
if you have it can you copy it and take it in the donwload center
would be very nice
thx try to do it by my own thing, but that could be a problem
greetings
