Topic: need help installing numark cue soundcard on windows 7 32 bit

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

i ad been waiting for a driver for 64bit but now i'm aware its not gonna happen, so i just downgraded to 32 bit...

my question is , when downlaoding the cue6 from the numark website, does it come with the soundcard driver, or can i just download it from download center here and that will also have the driver for the soundcard, and if so, what is the order in which i instl, do i plug the soundcard then instl virtual vinyl for my pc to recognise the numark soundcard... ?.

just not sure in which order i should go.

if this doesn't work , i'm just gonna buy the hercules soundcard cause frankly the numark one has given nothing but problems.

an help will help... thanks

I don't have windows 7 yet, but in Vista and XP, the download doesn't come with the drivers for the Virtual Vinyl audio card.
what you do is after installing the program but without opening the software, place the original installation disc that came with the card and program in the disc drive, then conect the audio card and when windows ask you for the driver, point it to the folder in the disc with the drivers.

If you have problems, go in control panel and look for System/ Device Manger/audio devices. right click and update driver.

I hope it works in W 7
