How u like that VCI-300 ?? I have a Hercules RMX and does the job, but I'm looking for a controller more fun to use. Do you recommend it?
I'm really not looking for anything too bulky to travel with

I like it ok, I'd much rather use the ns7, my vci is collecting dust currently I should put it on ebay.

Stlaurents: question about your case - is the laptop platform stock or an addon - it looks pretty slick!

I had an odessy type holder that was one of the first adapted to my old case to just slide in but that's not an option on the new (read larger case).
Looks good!

'Can't view your photos, Buddy. Try to reduce the size. This happened to me before too and I used photo editing software (Zoom Browser - Canon) to edit and adjust the size of my pictures. There might be some other ways, but that's how I did mine.

Goodluck!

I don't know if your message is for me but I will try to give an answer.

I run VDJ 7.0.2 with Mac OS 10.6.4 (both on Imac and MacbookPro).

Why give up easily? There's a lot of DJs here who could help you. Just try to research more on the forum and make friends with somebody who runs the same units as yours.

Here's one of the links you could start with...

goodluck!

ask and you shall be given

- 15" MacBook Pro (2.53 GHZ Core 2 Duo, 4Gb 1067 MHZ DDR3)
- Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.6 & Virtual DJ 7.0.2
- Denon DN-X1600 (latest firmware v2000)
- Xone:1D

Works like a charm.

Imac 24"(3.06 ghz/ 500gbHD/ 4gb RAM)
2 Denon DNS-3700s
REI mixer with sampler
2 Mackie HD1521 powered mains 700w each
