Topic: Deleting queue points

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I know this sounds like a stupid question but I cant seem to figure out how to delete queue points in VDJ 6.05

I've done this before in an earlier version but I'm not sure how its done in v6??

Right mouse button click and chose delete.

Put your cursor over the cue point in the waveform and then right click, delete.

thats what i'm doing but there is no pop up menu or no delete option.

i put the mouse curser on the cue point - right click but there is no delete option.
i am running vdj 6 under windows 7 - not sure if that matters?

Does the cue point change color when you go over it with your cursor? I think mine goes green and then I can delete it. I'm now using the NS7 so I delete right of the controller. It should be easier than the way it is right now... Depending on the resolution you must get pretty precise with your cursor for it to turn color. It's easy to update your cue point by right clicking on the skin button 1 2 3 but there should be a menu to delete from there as well when you right click. Maybe future version??

You can try using another skin then repeat the process.

Hope that helps.

Try right clicking on the waveform directly above deck 1 or 2, not the waveform at the top of the screen.

sorry, that's the wave I was talikng about... over each deck

no - the queue point does not change color when i move the mouse cursor over it.
I remember doing that with VDJ on my old laptop but with this one i cant seem to delete queue points at all.

i would consider this to be a bug - and something that needs to be fixed for windows 7

I did a test... you are not using the pro 6 original skin. I tried another skin that someone else compiled and it doesn't change color. try using the original pro 6 skin that came with the download. I was still able to delete the cue point in the other skin by hovering my mouse over the cue point mark and right clicking gave me a choice to delete it. You are trying to delete it in the Deck waveform I assume... not the top center wave form right?? I'm using Windows 7 as well

Ahhh - thx man - I was still using a VDJ skin but it was not the default pro skin.
