Is there any easy way to dertermine which song is best to mix with the next , besides beat matching ?

If there was an easy way, we'd all be out of a job! If you stick to a genre (house, crunk, electro, disco, etc) the songs are similar so it's fairly easy to keep a beat going. When moving between genres, I look for songs that borrow from other styles (like a pop song with a hip-hop beat) to move from one style of music to another. Experiment with loops and samples, and use effects to cover up awkward transitions. Listen to the VirtualDJ radio to get new mixing ideas! IMHO, reading the crowd is the most important part of what we do, and even a sloppy mix into the perfect song is ok if it keeps the crowd moving.

You might try master mixing with HARMONY/KEY.
It will add meaning to you beatmatch mixing and for sure it will modify your art of djing as a whole.
