After i can't assign the F* keys to work to set my Cue points. I set my CUE points using 1,2,3... i then use my NUM1 NUM2 NUM3 keys play the cue points.
I've got a feeling it may get a little confusing and thought a simpler option would be to have a separate number pad.

I was thinking of using my NUM keys on the keyboard to SET the Cue Points, and use the NUM Key's on the separate number pad to play the cue points?
I was wondering if this would be a sensible idea, and if VDJ would be clever enough to recognize what I'm trying to tell it?

if you already have a numberpad on your keyboard then it will respond the same way as has been set up with that one (not the numbers at the top of the key board) a better option may be to save a little more cash and get a small midi controller from korg

Have a look at these there cheep and very effective
