Did you try to re-load them from the correct folder?

For some reason i get an error message after downlaoding. File size parameter is incorrect. Does anyone know what this means. thanks for the help. Or do i need to dowload 6.4 then download 6.5. I should not have to do that but who knows.
 
That means you did not receive the whole install file.
Please try again and if possible use a high speed internet connection.
 
i will connect my ethernet cable instead of wireless.

same here.. they were all large, and if I loaded or even reloaded the same one they squished down to half size.
 
Me thinks a 6.0.6 is in order...
 
downloaded with wireless when i got home, signal at work was weak. i will play around with it and see how it goes. thanks guys.

i am excited. none of what you describe happens to my setup. A macboopro with denon HC4500.

Got an NS7 and virtual dj. I've been waiting for a year for this combo.
 
Just loaded 6.05 and have the same issue others are having with the clipbank preview squares being squashed down to less than half size and they are all on the left side of each preview window. I unloaded and reloaded different files from my har drive, but got the same results everytime. This is a bug fix to put on the list for revision 6.06.

yeah, I did... thats when I started having that problem :-(
 
Hi there,

I hope you had a terrific Christmas! I downloaded and installed Virtual DJ V6.0.5 and noticed two things: the first bug has already been mentioned. It's the clipbank preview function. If I'm not mistaken it affects only Quicktime clips. Their preview pics are squeezed to half size. Ok, that's not too bad, it's just difficult to figure out the right clip at a special point of time.
The second bug is worse: playback of Quicktime clips doesn't really work. The clips are also resized to I guess even less that half. That's a rather annoying bug. I've tried to reload the clips but to no avail.

So that would be one of the issues to deal with before providing V.6.0.6.

Maybe somebody has experienced the same bug and can give some advice.

However, wishing you guys out there all the best for 2010!

Thanks very much for a great update! Been using it for the last few nights and it's been rock solid.
 
i saw on cnet.com that there is a newer version of vdj - v6.0.6 i am wondering if it is true and if so, then what are the new changes?
if nothing much has changed, then do i need to download it?
and why is the version on their website and not on this one?

Automix stops working if the first file errors out and won't allow you to play any files on the list no matter what you try.

To fix the problem I had to clear the list of all files turn off automix drag new files into list then turn automix on again before it worked.

This can really throw you off on a live gig, well I guess you also have the second deck, but still this shouldn't prevent you from moving on to the next song on the list.
