ok lemme ask this the best way i can,
until further notice i have to use my rmx as my soundcard wit that being said, im using TCV, is there a way to disable the pitch slider on the rmx?
reason being is when attempting to adjust tempo on actual tt i then have to go back to the rmx to reset to default for each load.

I believe there is an option in the config to auto reset on each load.

rite, i think i have screwed up a config somewher along the line when manualy sync the pitch from 1 deck to the other from the controler to beat match i use the rmx,, then when doin the mix itself i go from the TT which is where the problem begins..

Hi mate
I think you hit the nail on the head, You need to decide which to use for beatmatch/syncing I dont think you should be using both. Remember that timecode it just that, it is a series of pulses that VDJ is reading from your TT's so the information on pitch/tempo and so on should be from the timecode not the RMX. Try to do both and you just confuse the software as you have said.
Perhaps you need to dissable the controller side of the RMX compleatly and just set it up as a sound card with the control side done via the keyboard and TT's. Dont know if you can do this, just a suggestion.

ok with that being said, if disabling the control side was maybe an option and i used the rmx only as the mixer if this could be done how then am i able to tell when im synced i dont like to used the auto sync i like to manual sync. would that then force me to getting the external mixer and sound card?,,,or have i not paid atention to what im doing and noticed that sync adjust also on screen thru the pitch thru the TT also?
one more question- i read in a beat matchin post to adjust the pitch/slider to the same tempo as alterate deck now is that a configuration that needs to b adjusted to allow me to do that without the song being played or does the song have to be played for such changes?

Hi mate
I am guessing here a little but when you look at most of the timecode setups, people are using an external sound card and external mixer.
If you religate the RMX to just being a sound card and can use an external analogue mixer you wont need to use the RMX sliders but you would use the wav display for your syncing/beatmatching. The pitch controll on the TT is what should be used for this and yes the track has to be playing but with your external mixer you can cue as you normaly would with two TT's.
Don't know if this helps or not.
