Editing Songs
Hello
I'm new to VDJ & I DJ alot for club dances, how can I edit songs to keep them in a 3 minute range or so, I would like to set up my libary so I don't have to cue songs every time. Thanks For your response

cue them when you are at home, the software will remember the last cue you use and load it up at that exact point.

Thanks for your help, I was also trying to create a second cue, so the song would fadeout at that cue point, but support said that is not an option. Thanks again

Hello, there are many free software applications you can use to edit music. For example Audacity, you can easily edit out portions of music and apply filters and effects such as fade-outs.
However, this can also be done live in VirtualDJ. You could set up cue-points at where you would like "Cut into" the track, then just use the hot cue buttons at an appropriate moment. Fade-out can be applied by yourself obviously, but there is also a programmable plugin for this if that makes you more comfortable.
