hello, i'm new to mixing. i would say i'm ok at it. i would just like to know, how far i can take it. i was looking to learn to remix. what more can the pro edition do for me? is there an effect where i can take out parts of music like: vocals, beats, guitar? thank you all for help.

Not really. The pro version will give you all of the bells and whistles that you would ever want for mixing at live shows or for remixing as well as lifetime updates and use on any machine you may purchase down the road. The pro version is IMO a must for any pro DJ, the LE version is fine, but only a taste.

If you want editing software you may want to consider something like Ableton live. I use it for production and editing. Then once you edit what you want you can mix it in VDJ while recording your mix via an external recorder connected to your mixer's "Rec Out" jacks.
