Topic: Questions regarding timecodes with version 6.0.3

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hi guys i have a couple of questions regading the new update of vdj.

To me everything seems to run the same as the first 6.x.x even all the problems but in this version there is surpose to be improvements

1. I read that there is different timecode engines been added to this new version if so how do i change (As i cannot see the option ANYWHERE).

2. I notice there is a new option in debug which is called smooth wht does this actually do.

3. I still have the problem with the pitch slider moving up and down on its own and the bpm is constantly going up and down (I Can solve this by disableing the pitch but i want my turntables to work correctly with the software i paid alot of money for)

1) They have made improvments on the timecodes not changed.

2) N/A(e.y.e.h.a.v.e.n.o.e.y.e.d.e.e.r.)lol

3) I think you should try Absolute timecode mode. These settings are located in the internal mixer(default skin) when scratch is selected i.e S,R,A. Also try adjusting the jog sensitivity. config>option

Hope this helps.

So can nobody help me with this then not even the people who make the software connot tell me how to change timcode engines......

config>sound>timecode config>vinyl>v4 cd or vinyl. This is internal. It does not change it visually.

I appologize in advanced for being the biggest noob. I currently hav numark's virtual vinyl and I want to run it with virtual dj and I now hav the latest version which I think it is6.0.3. (correct me if I'm wrong). And all of the configurations I see in these forums hav this auto config option but I do not see this. Can somebody help me straighten this out. Thank u in advanced!
