Might have been a good idea to start your own thread instead of digging one from 2011...

Nonetheless, can you try the Rmx, and most particularly the jog wheel outside of VDJ, using the following procedure ?

Hi Phatso I see you have experience with hercules consoles, I have the following problem I have windows 7 pro 64 bits and latest hercules rmx driver installed, nevertheless when I use asio drivers vdj stops after 10 min playing and is a big problem since I need asio for tcvs, is there a firmware problem using windows 64 bits? it doesn't happen using wdm drivers.

Could you be a little more precise about what exactly "stops" after 10 min?

What is the audio configuration you are using for VDJ?

Yeah it does the same on my windows 8 system, go through ALL the steps and it eventually says:

"The DJHERCULESMIX Series driver founds on your system is older than expected.
Please re-instal the DJHERCULESMIX Driver Package"

So you are saying try to update the firmware on an older XP system and then try to re-instal drivers again after?
This is rediculus hercules, I may just have to say to hell with this control :/

This specific error usually occur because a previous driver package was installed using a DJ console, and you are now trying to install the new driver using another controller, and some file of the previous installation are not being updated properly.

The solutions:

1) Install the driver using the previous DJ Controller (if possible) or simply connecting both consoles during the installation.

2) Go to C:/Windows/System32/drivers folder and delete the following files:

- hdjbulk.sys
- hdjasiok.sys
- hdjmidi.sys

Once done, launch the installation again.
