Topic: HOW TO SETUP VIDEO OUTPUT TO PROJECT ON TV USING HDMI ON MACBOOK PRO

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I am ready to go live with vdj. I am having problems setup my video mix to be projected on LCD TV as full screen. Right now its on monitor mode. I have tried clicking on detect displays on mac nothing comes up. I have restarted VDJ latest version 6 and it does not detect my video card if I have one LOL?

Someone please help. Do you have instructions on how to set up dual displays for projection on a MAC. I dont want monitor mode.

Thanks.

My LG TV is not being detected on virtual dj software through HDMI cable. Thanks.

never mind i figured it out. It was the arrangement of screens that I need to change. Dont use mirror arrangement. Thanks.

It's great that he figured it out, but I haven't. Can someone help me out??

I don't know if this will help you but it works for me...

You will need a Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapter and an HDMI cable. Connect it to your LCD and power it on, open VDJ, go to "Config" the video "Video", then click the "TV Output" drop down menu to find your display, select it and then check "Activate"...

For dual LCD displays you will need to purchase an HDMI splitter. I use an LCD and a projector or sometimes I will run two projectors...
