Topic: VDJ Scratch PRO

Why cant we get a extension of VDJ just for professional DJs,like a scratch pro version,I have seen a litte improvement in the timecode engine,but its just not up to standard and there is a lot of threads in the forum about timecode.I am sure that there are so many people around the world who just love this software.I wish I could be of some assistance to the VDJ Team just to get the timecode correct once and for all.I just cant wait no longer,maybe i need a new software.

it's very easy to configure TCV , and now is like Serato or Traktor : PERFECT .
There's a lot of post talking about time coded ....maybe you must read all . I have Audio8dj - Xfi elite pro and for me Vdj it's better than the other (I also have serato & traktor in my club )

Download a software called Crossloop (so I can do it directly )

I totally agree, I run VDj with an Audio 8dj, Allen & Heath Xone 3d and two CDJ1000 mkIII and prefer it to traktor
 
Well I Have the audio4dj,very good soundcard but in terms of drifting maybe i need a little help,going to a gig tonight but I will still try to do some adjustment,not planning to a lot of beat juggling but I cant wait to get this thing correct.
 
No more versions!!!

Just look at Traktor and Serato now with all there versions. Buy scratch and then download a plugin and you nolonger have scratch you have video sl, it has it's own forum now and you can no longer post in the scratch forum.

I agree with charlie on this one virtual dj pro is just one simple program that does everything music, video, karaoke and timecode what more do you want.

I use timecode vinyl with the new v6.0.2 a esi maya44 usb and serato 2nd gen timecode vinyls and a have no problem with this setup (Although i did need to disable the pitch in the debug menu within the timecode config to achieve this.

I also have another setup using a dmc2, DJ Io and external mixer for my karaoke and mobile gigs which also works perfect.

All in all VDJ Is the software to have as it does everything you need.
 
+1 here too...i would like some of the features removed that we dont really need with in the software just to have a perfect running timecode and 0 latency on the midi...i would remove the sampler since we can sample with kueit and or ableton live...i use ableton live to sample works great with either itch or virtual dj..thats the reason serato is so solid it doesnt have nothing on the screen its alll on the controllers or your mixers.

Well if its like serato,I must be doing something wrong with my timecoded configuration,no issue with latency or sound but whenever I do beatjuggling,there is a drift,if I used cd players and set my cue points on the cd player it's off,only when the song play 50% when I try to bop to the cue point again. Vdj 6.02 I can strongly say there are improvement with the timecode but its still not right.Thank you Man-TK for your support cause I really need some help with this one.

i have had virtual dj for about a year now and i love it(i hav it upgraded to the latest version). I recently just bought 2 technics SL-1200MK2's, the virtual vinyl audio interface, and i hav a mixer. I understand this is all you need to operate virtual vinyl with virtual dj. but its just not working for me(if i am lucky enough it will play sometimes on one deck, sometimes on both) i especially can not get it to go backwards(on the deck i would spin the record backwards but the song will go forwards), which is imprtant to scratch.
Maybe my config is wrong?
I lack hardware?
if anyone can, please help me, i do not want to have had blown off all this money for no reason. Thank you in advanced.
p.s. i hav bought the serato CV02's just in case.
 
@rodster - Please do not make the same post across multiple threads ... it will not get you an answer any quicker and only divides the responses that together in one spot could have helped you.
 
Sorry for the mess and confusion that I may have caused...I'm just tired of all this researching and awaiting answers to my posts...I just need someone to help because I spent alot on my equipment
